Long-Term Care
A home-like setting for individuals with complex, unpredictable medical needs who are unable to remain at home or in a Supportive Living setting. A Registered Nurse Care Leader oversees all elements of resident care. They lead an interdisciplinary team that include Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs), Personal Support Workers (PSWs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physiotherapists (PTs), Recreational Therapists (RTs), Dietitians, Social Workers and Physicians.
Independent Supportive Living
Private suites with kitchenettes for independent seniors who are in need of some additional personal supports such as emergency response, meals, housekeeping, laundry, recreation, and social activities.
The community
AgeCare Elmira is a vibrant seniors’ community that celebrates and supports aging with dignity. Programs and care plans are individually tailored, accommodating varying health needs. As a long-term care community, AgeCare Elmira was specifically designed to include wide hallways, handrails, bright barrier-free suites, accessible ensuite bathrooms, and an emergency call system. A full-service retirement residence is located next door, which allows spouses and loved ones to live close by even when their care needs are different.
