Situated in Victoria overlooking the Salish Sea, AgeCare James Bay is a warm and welcoming long term care community. With 24-hour nursing care, assistance with daily activities and a multitude of amenities, AgeCare James Bay delivers the customized care, peace of mind and dignity our residents deserve.

Long-Term Care
A home-like setting for individuals with complex, unpredictable medical needs who are unable to remain at home or in a Supportive Living setting. A Registered Nurse Care Leader oversees all elements of resident care. They lead an interdisciplinary team that include Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Heath Care Aides (HCAs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physio Therapists (PTs), Recreational Therapists (RTs), and Social Workers.

AgeCare James Bay is a vibrant seniors’ community that celebrates and supports aging with dignity. Our community features open, welcoming spaces with common amenities that our residents enjoy, including bright private suites, cozy lounges, resident dining rooms, a hair salon and a beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyard.

As a Long-Term Care community, it was specifically designed to include wide hallways, handrails, barrier-free suites, accessible en suite bathrooms, and an emergency call system.

Our 115 suites are publicly funded, and admissions begin with a health care assessment through Island Health.
